Towards the west of Bangor, the richly opulent Cathedral has one of the few Biblical gardens in the UK. Containing specimens of every plant mentioned in the bible, this is well worth a visit. 

Cultural hotspot Storiel has a vibrant and lively programme of exhibitions, shows and performances. Housing one of the two museums in the area, and showcasing local artistic talents, this is the place to relax, grab a coffee before heading off to experience the retail therapy found in the shopping centres.
