Due to a tree blocking the railway between Wrexham Central (WXC) and Bidston (BID):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Wrexham Central (WXC) and Bidston (BID).
We expect the incident to last until 13:00 and disruption to services is expected from 08:30 until 14:00.
We have been made aware of a tree on the line between Wrexham Central and Bidston.
For safety, train services are unable to run through the area.
Our colleagues at Network Rail/Amey Infrastructure are aware and staff are currently en route to the affected area.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from Network Rail.

Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Wrexham General and Bidston to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at approximately 09:00 at Wrexham General, provided by Pats Coaches, and arrive at Bidston approximately 10:00, provided by Keane's Coaches.
These arrangements are in place on services until further notice.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
