Update: Incident due to a fault with the signalling system between Maesteg (MST) and Bridgend (BGN) until 16:00.

Due to a fault with the signalling system between Maesteg (MST) and Bridgend (BGN):

Services will be delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Maesteg (MST).

We expect the incident to last until 16:00 and disruption to services is expected from 13:43 until 20:00.

We have been made aware of a signalling problem at Maesteg

As a result, train services will not be able to run through the area until the signalling system is working normally.

Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and technicians are currently en route to the affected area.

We are in the process of sourcing road transport to help complete your journey.

We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

Please check back shortly. We apologise for the disruption caused to your journey.
