Due to a tree blocking the railway between Ystrad Mynach (YSM) and Rhymney (RHY):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Ystrad Mynach (YSM) and Rhymney (RHY).
We expect the incident to last until 09:00 and disruption to services is expected until 10:00.
We have been made aware of a tree on the line at Hengoed.
For safety, train services are unable to run through the area.
Our colleagues at Amey Infrastructure are aware and staff are currently en route to the affected area.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from Network Rail.
