Due to a broken rail between Wrexham General (WRX) and Chester (CTR):
Services will be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Wrexham General (WRX) and Chester (CTR).
We expect the incident to last until 15:00 and disruption to services is expected from 13:51 until 16:00.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a broken rail between Wrexham General and Chester.
For safety, train services will not be able to run through the area until it has been fixed.
Our colleagues at Network Rail Infrastructure are aware of the problem and technicians are currently en route to the affected area of track.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.
