Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
We expect to have a reduced number of trains available on Monday 13th July whilst our depot teams work to ensure our on board air conditioning is fully functional.
There are no services running between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth in either direction until the end of the day.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Machynlleth at approximately 10:50 provided by Lloyds and we estimate the following departure times:

Rail services between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury are expected to be busy meaning conditions on board could be very warm. Customers who are feeling unwell should consider whether they need to travel. If you do travel, you should bring water, stay hydrated and speak to a member of the onboard team immediately if you begin to feel unwell.
