Services will be delayed by up to 15 minutes.
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Penarth (PEN).
We expect the incident to last until 14:00 and disruption to services is expected from 12:49 until 16:00.

If all or part of your journey requires a rail replacement bus, please tap in at your origin station and tap out at your destination. If you need to tap out at a gateline after travelling on a rail replacement bus, our station colleagues can assist. You can also add any missing taps using our app or website.
Pay as you go is only valid on Transport for Wales and CrossCountry services, even where we state you can use your original ticket at no extra cost with other train operators or local bus operators. If you travel with another operator or on a local bus service, you must first tap out at the same station within one hour of tapping in and buy an alternative ticket before boarding.
If you wish to abandon your journey, please tap out at the same station within one hour of tapping in.

We expect the incident to last until 13:30 and disruption to services is expected until 14:30.
What's Happened?
Due to Trespassers on the railway the following services have been altered:
The 12:07 Service from Maesteg to Ebbw Vale Town is terminating at Tondu.
The 11:07 Service from Ebbw Vale Town to Maesteg is terminating at Tondu.
The 13:08 Service from Maesteg to Ebbw Vale Town is starting from Tondu.

We have been unable to source replacement buses on this route. Please travel on the next available service.

- Route 70 and 71 provided by First Cymru between Bridgend and Maesteg via Tondu.
- Route 74 and 76 provided by First Cymru between Bridgend and Sarn.
- Route 65 provided by Adventure Travel between Bridgend and Wildmill.

Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Machynlleth (MCN) and Aberystwyth (AYW).
We expect the incident to last until 09:55 and disruption to services is expected from 08:30 until 13:30.
The problem has now been rectified and services are now able to run. However, please expect residual delays and possible cancellations.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. The below services have been replaced by road transport.
10:46 Machynlleth all stations to Aberystwyth. This service will be provided by Lloyds.
11:27 Aberystwyth all stations to Machynlleth, calling when necessary as far as Shrewsbury. This service will be provided by Lloyds.
11:38 Machynlleth all stations to Aberystwyth. This service will be provided by Lloyds.
12:27 Aberystwyth all stations to Machynlleth, calling when necessary as far as Shrewsbury. This service will be provided by Lloyds.
12:47 Machynlleth all stations to Aberystwyth. This service will be provided by Lloyds.
