What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a signalling problem between Pontyclun and Cardiff Central. For safety, train services will be running more slowly than normal through the area, with residual delays of around 30 minutes to be expected.
Our services headed from Bridgend towards Cardiff Central are disrupted. Please note, our services travelling from Bridgend to Cardiff Central via the Vale of Glamirgan remain unaffected. Services travelling from Cardiff Central to Bridgend and onwards towards Swansea also remain unaffected.
Please note, GWR services are also affected by this incident. Please check your journey at tfw.wales.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and Technicians are currently en route to the affected area. We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.
