Update: Incident due to urgent repairs to the track between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM) until 14:00.

Due to urgent repairs to the track between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM):

Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM).

We expect the incident to last until 14:00 and disruption to services is expected until 14:00.

What's Happened?

We have been made aware of broken rail between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa.

For safety, trains will run at a reduced speed through the affected area, with cancellations and residual delays of around 60 minutes to be expected.

Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and Technicians are currently en route to the affected area of track.

We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

These arrangements are in place on services until further notice.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Carmarthen (CMN) and Pembroke Dock (PMD).

We expect the incident to last until 12:30 and disruption to services is expected until 13:30.

What's Happened?

A train has broken down at Carmarthen meaning services in the area are subject to disruption and may be cancelled or delayed.

Our maintenance team are currently in contact with train crew working to rectify the problem.

We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from our maintenance team.

We have organised buses to run between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost. These will services will be provided by Davies, Glyns and 2impress and will cover the following services:

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
