What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a signalling problem affecting a set of points which switch trains between tracks at Abercynon.
As a result, there will be a reduction in train services to one train per hour between Abercynon and Aberdare and Abercynon and Merthyr Tydfil.
Our colleagues at Amey Infrastructure are aware of the problem and Technicians are currently en route to the affected signalling.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.
