Reduced service between Cardiff Central and Swansea on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June
Station improvement work is taking place at Cardiff Central, with affects to lines out of platforms 0, 1, 2 and 3.
As a result a reduced service will operate between Cardiff Central and Swansea with one train per hour running in each direction. These service may make additional stops.
Services between Cheltenham Spa / Ebbw Vale Town / Cardiff Central and Maesteg will start / terminate at Bridgend.

Saturday and Sunday:
Great Western Railway buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Newport and also between Newport and Gloucester.
Transport for Wales:
Friday:
The 23:09 Shrewsbury to Cardiff Central service will terminate at Newport. A rail replacement bus will run between Newport and Cardiff Central.
Saturday:
Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Newport.
If you are travelling towards Gloucester, you should use CrossCountry services to complete your journey.
Sunday:
Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Cwmbran and also between Cardiff Central and Gloucester.
Monday:

- The 22:43 Llandovery to Swansea service will divert to terminate at Carmarthen. If you are travelling to Gowerton or Swansea you should change at Llanelli for rail replacement buses.
- The 23:15 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen service will divert via an alternative route between Port Talbot Parkway and Llanelli. A rail replacement bus service will run from Port Talbot Parkway to Gowerton, calling at all stations via Swansea.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday:
- The 00:08 Swansea to Carmarthen service will start from Llanelli.
- The 04:38 Carmarthen to Swansea service will not run.
- The 04:47 Carmarthen to Llandovery service will start earlier than normal.
