Due to severe weather between Aberystwyth (AYW) and Shrewsbury (SHR):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 02:39 until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
We expect to have a reduced number of trains available on Sunday 12th July whilst our depot teams work to ensure our on board air conditioning is fully functional.
This means a reduced number of services are able to run between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury in both directions.
Customers are advised to travel on the next available service where possible.
Rail services between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury are expected to be busy meaning conditions on board could be very warm. Customers who are feeling unwell should consider whether they need to travel. If you do travel, you should bring water, stay hydrated and speak to a member of the onboard team immediately if you begin to feel unwell.
