Due to a speed restriction over defective track between Cilmeri (CIM) and Sugar Loaf (SUG):

Services may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.

We expect the incident to last until 19:00 and disruption to services is expected until 21:15.

What's Happened?

For safety, train services will be running more slowly than normal through the area of between Cilmeri and Garth and Llanwrtyd and Sugar Loaf, with residual delays of around 10 minutes to be expected until 21:15. This is affecting services on our Swansea to Shrewsbury (Heart of Wales) line in both directions.

Please continue to travel as planned, but expect delays on your journey.

Swansea to Shrewsbury (Heart of Wales)
