Due to damage to the overhead electric wires between Wolverhampton (WVH) and Birmingham New Street (BHM):
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Wolverhampton (WVH) and Birmingham New Street (BHM).
We expect the incident to last until 20:00 and disruption to services is expected from 17:00 until 21:00.
We have been made aware of an obstruction affecting the overhead line equipment between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street. For safety, train services are unable to run through the area.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware and staff are currently en route to the affected area.

Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Wolverhampton at approximately 18:20 and Birmingham New Street by 18:40. Both buses will be provided by JKT International.
These arrangements are in place until further notice.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
