Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Welshpool (WLP) and Aberystwyth (AYW):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Welshpool (WLP) and Aberystwyth (AYW).
We expect the incident to last until 10:30 and disruption to services is expected from 04:16 until 10:30.
What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of trains at Machynlleth Depot, we have fewer trains available to run today's service.
Our engineers are working hard to bring trains back into service as quickly as possible. We apologise for any disruption caused to your journey.
The following services have been cancelled:-
- 06:48 Welshpool to Aberystwyth
- 08:27 Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury
We have organised a bus departing at:-
06:48 Welshpool all stops to Aberystwyth
08:27 Aberystwyth all stops to Shrewsbury
to assist customers to complete their journey at no extra cost. This will be provided by Lloyds
