Based in our Head Office reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day support of the ERP system, supporting IT with the ERP testing and new feature updates for transition into the organisation. You will also be supporting new transformation projects within the organisation that will deliver benefits for efficiencies and accuracy of data.
You will be responsible for monitoring and managing the financial ERP system being the conduit between finance and IT, to resolve queries raised by the business as well as acting as a point of contact for a range of internal stakeholders across Transport for Wales (TfW).
You will identify system improvements and user requirements to ensure that the ERP works in harmony with the business. In addition, you will be instrumental in managing the roll out of upgrades, future enhancements and new features.
But this role will not only be focused on the maintenance and development of the Finance System, you will also be responsible for analysing data contained within the ERP. You will support new transformation projects which will involve analysing data and regular reconciliation exercises.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll not only have an affinity with finance and accountancy practices, you will also be a technical expert with exposure to ERP and IT systems.
You’ll need to be adaptable and convey a calm attitude in a complex and fast aced changing environment.
As a minimum requirement you’ll have:
• Experience of working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Dynamics 365 or similar).
• Ideally you will come from a strong accounting background and in particular project accounting
• Knowledge of working with and analysing complex data streams with an analytical and methodical approach.
• Excellant Microsoft Excel experience and able to manage your time is imperative in order to support the deadlines that need to be achieved.
Welsh Language Skills
It’d be great if you have welsh language skills, however, it’s not essential for this role.
