As chair of the new Transport for Wales Advisory Panel, I’m looking forward to the insightful and rich discussion its members will bring. TfW is committed to improving the railway network in Wales & the Borders and they are working hard to ensure they are listening to a range of audiences and representative groups to achieve a truly inclusive, engaging and accessible public transport network.

I look forward to working with panel members in the coming months. The collective experience and different perspectives we bring together will be crucial, particularly as we seek to advise and support TfW during these challenging times – and which I hope we will come to rely on both within and outside the panel sessions.

I hope the Advisory Panel will be a force for positive change, to ensure current and future generations have a world-leading railway and access to public transport.
