TfW Organisation Charts and Senior Rail Stakeholder Manager

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request on Transport for Wales Rail Services’ Organisation Charts and Senior Rail Stakeholder.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy, I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

• an organisation structure displayed in diagrammatic form; and

• the original job advertisement and job description, and if appropriate details of the appointment process for the position of Senior Rail Stakeholder.

The current organisation chart is attached. Some of the posts are currently vacant whilst others have been filled on a temporary basis or by secondment.

Regarding the position of Senior Rail Stakeholder Manager, candidates applied for the Rail Stakeholder Manager role via an external advertising process managed by our recruitment partners (TMP Worldwide). Candidates successful at the sift stage were invited to interview based on an assessment of their knowledge, skills and experience against the job description. Seven candidates were invited and all accepted the invitation to interview.

The successful candidate proposed that the role be called Senior Rail Stakeholder Manager to demonstrate career progression from their previous post.
