Due to engineering works not being finished on time at Cardiff Central (CDF):

Services may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Ebbw Vale Town (EBB).

We expect the incident to last until 08:00 and disruption to services is expected until 09:00.

Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:

Great Western Railway between Swansea and Cardiff Central

These arrangements are in place on services until 08:00.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.

Alternative Travel Options

We have organised buses to cover the following journeys to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost:

Pencoed to Cardiff Central departing 08:10 provided by Ridgeways

Bridgend to Maesteg departing approximately 07:45 provided by Pencoed Travel

Maesteg to Bridgend departing approximately 07:55 provided by Teulu Travel

Llanhilleth to Ebbw Vale Town departing approximately 07:45 provided by Jenson Travel

These arrangements are in place on services until 09:00.

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
