Update: Incident due to train crew being delayed by service disruption between Tondu (TDU) and Maesteg (MST) until 21:30.

Due to train crew being delayed by service disruption between Tondu (TDU) and Maesteg (MST):

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Tondu (TDU) and Maesteg (MST).

We expect the incident to last until 21:30 and disruption to services is expected until 21:30 on 23/06/2026.

Due to Train crew being delayed by service disruption, the 19:07 Service from Ebbw Vale town to Maesteg is terminating at Tondu. We have organised a bus to meet the incoming service at Tondu to assist customers to complete their journey at no extra cost. This will arrive at Tondu at approximately 21:15 and will be provided by Pencoed Travel.

Due to Train crew being delayed by service disruption, the 21:11 Service from Maesteg to Ebbw Vale Town will be starting at Tondu. We have organised a bus to run between Maesteg and Bridgend to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. This will arrive at Maesteg at approximately 21:40 provided by Pencoed Travel.

These arrangements are in place until 22:30

New: Incident due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Carmarthen (CMN) and Fishguard Harbour (FGH) until 22:40.

Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Carmarthen (CMN) and Fishguard Harbour (FGH):

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Carmarthen (CMN) and Fishguard Harbour (FGH).

We expect the incident to last until 22:40 and disruption to services is expected until 22:40 on 23/06/2026.

What's Happened?

Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time, the 15:30 Service from Manchester Piccadilly to Fishguard Harbour is terminating at Carmarthen. We have organised a bus to meet the incoming service at Carmarthen to assist customers to complete their journey at no extra cost. This will arrive at Carmarthen at approximately 21:15 and will be provided by Glyns.

Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time, the 21:45 Service from Fishguard Harbour to Carmarthen will be cancelled. We have organised a bus to run between Fishguard Harbour and Carmarthen to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Fishguard Harbour at approximately 21:45 provided by Easybus.

These arrangements are in place until 23:00

Services may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Chester (CTR) and Holyhead (HHD).

We expect the incident to last until 21:00 and disruption to services is expected until 23:00.

Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Llandudno (LLD) and Blaenau Ffestiniog (BFF):

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Llandudno (LLD) and Blaenau Ffestiniog (BFF).

We expect the incident to last until 21:00 and disruption to services is expected from 16:10 until 21:30.

What's Happened?

Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestinog.

Alternative Travel Options:

We have limited road transport running between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog provided by Lleu Jones and Dilwyns, to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost until 21:30.

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

Services will be cancelled in the Pontypridd to Cardiff Bay area.

We expect the incident to last until 23:59 and disruption to services is expected from 05:00 until 23:59.

What's Happened?

Hot weather has been forecast Meaning train journeys may be subject to change. Please check before you travel.

Services from Pontypridd directly to Cardiff Bay will be Cancelled. Please use an alternative train service and change at Cardiff Queen Street for a service to Cardiff Bay.

Due to forecasted severe weather between Coryton (COY) and Penarth (PEN):

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Heath Low Level (HLL) and Penarth (PEN).

We expect the incident to last until 20:00 on 27/06/2026 and disruption to services is expected from 05:00 on 22/06/2026 until 20:00 on 27/06/2026.

What's Happened?

Hot weather has been forecast, Meaning train journeys may be subject to change. Please check before you travel.

A Shuttle will operate servicing stations - Coryton, Whitchurch, Rhiwbina, Birchgrove, Ty Glas and Heath Low Level in both directions. For passengers wishing to travel towards Cardiff Central or Rhymney, please change at Heath Low Level and walk to Heath High Level for connecting train services.

There will be a reduced service Between Cardiff Central and Penarth due to the severe weather forcast.

Customers can use local bus services between Cardiff and Penarth to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:

  • Service 92 with Cardiff Bus.

You can use these services from 05:00 until 20:00 from Monday22nd to Saturday 27th
