We’re involved with a number of projects that form part of our work transforming the transport network in Wales and the borders so that it becomes truly sustainable and fit for future generations.
Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Warrington Bank Quay (WBQ) and Manchester Piccadilly (MAN):
Services will be delayed by up to 75 minutes.
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Warrington Bank Quay (WBQ) and Manchester Airport (MIA).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.

We have organised buses to run between Warrington Bank Quay and Manchester Piccadilly to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Warrington Bank Quay at approximately 17:30 provided by Keans Coaches and at Manchester Piccadilly at 19:00 provided by Keans Coaches.
These arrangements are in place on services until the end of the day
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Newport and Ebbw Vale Town. You can use your ticket on the next available service at no extra cost.
