Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Warrington Bank Quay (WBQ) and Manchester Piccadilly (MAN):
Services will be delayed by up to 75 minutes.
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Warrington Bank Quay (WBQ) and Manchester Airport (MIA).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.

Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:
- Avanti West Coast services between Warrington Bank Quay and Crewe as well as between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly,
- Northern services between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester via Greenbank as well as between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly via Manchester Airport or Stockport.
We have organised buses to run between Warrington Bank Quay and Manchester Piccadilly to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Warrington Bank Quay at approximately 17:30 provided by Keans Coaches and at Manchester Piccadilly at 19:00 provided by Keans Coaches.
These arrangements are in place on services until the end of the day
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

We expect the incident to last until 23:59 and disruption to services is expected until 23:59.
We have been made aware of more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time, which has impacted our services between Swansea and Shrewsbury via the Heart of Wales.
As a result, the following amendments have been made:
- 17:48 Swansea to Shrewsbury (via the Heart of Wales) will now start at Llandrindod.
- 18:35 Shrewsbury to Swansea (via the Heart of Wales) will now terminate at Llandrindod.
Our services between Swansea and Shrewsbury (via the Heart of Wales) are disrupted in both directions.
We expect the incident to be cleared by 23:59. Train services may be disrupted until 23:59.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Swansea and Llandrindod to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at
- Swansea at approximately 17:48 provided by Davies, calling all stops to Llandrindod. Customers can alight at Llandrindod to connect with replacement road transport calling all stops to Shrewsbury, provided by AC Jenkins.
- Llandrindod at approximately 20:27 calling all stops to Swansea, provided by Francis & AC Jenkins.
These arrangements are in place on services until 23:59.

What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Newport and Ebbw Vale Town. You can use your ticket on the next available service at no extra cost.
