Due to a fault with the signalling system between Hereford (HFD) and Shrewsbury (SHR):
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in the Shrewsbury area.
We expect the incident to last until 17:30 and disruption to services is expected until 20:30.
We have been made aware of a signalling problem Hereford & Shrewsbury. As a result, train services will not run through the area until the signalling system is working normally.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and Technicians are currently en route to the affected area/signalling.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from Network Rail technicians. Please check back shortly.
We have made a request for rail replacement bus services to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost. Please check back shortly for confirmation. You may wish to travel later today, once the disruption has cleared and trains are running to their normal schedule.

We have been made aware of a points failure in the Sutton Bridge area near Shrewsbury.
Until the issue has been rectified, trains will not run through the area.
Our services between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth are disrupted in both directions.
We expect the incident to be cleared by 17:30. Train services may be cancelled or delayed in the area until approximately 17:30.
