Our Major Projects Committee
The role of our Major Projects Committee is to review and scrutinise major projects and make recommendations concerning those major projects. The committee:
- considers the implications of taking on major projects and programmes
- recommends approval of the major project workbook and future opportunities
- recommends approval of the prioritisation of major projects for delivery
- scrutinises the delivery of major projects and their alignment with TfW’s delivery of corporate and business objectives as agreed within the Welsh Government’s remit letter
- supports the TfW board in making recommendations on acquisitions in support of TfW objectives
- monitors TfW’s implementation of the Welsh Government’s Transport Strategy; and
- monitors and scrutinises the work of the portfolio management office
