Due to animals on the railway at Shotton (SHT):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Wrexham General (WRX) and Bidston (BID).
We expect the incident to last until 23:00 and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.
We have been made aware of animals on the railway between Shotton and Hawarden Bridge.
For safety, train services are unable to run through the area.
Our services between Wrexham General and Bidston are disrupted in both directions.
We expect the incident to be cleared by 23:00. As a result of the disruption, our train services between Wrexham General and Bidston will be cancelled until end of service today.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Wrexham General and Bidston to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at
- Wrexham General at approximately 22:15 provided by Keanes.
- Bidston at approximately 22:15 provided by Keanes.
- Bidston at approximately 22:58 provided by Keanes.
These arrangements are in place on services until end of service today.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
