Update: Incident due to a safety inspection of the track between Harlech (HRL) and Barmouth (BRM) until 15:00.

Due to a safety inspection of the track between Harlech (HRL) and Barmouth (BRM):

Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Machynlleth (MCN) and Pwllheli (PWL).

We expect the incident to last until 15:00 and disruption to services is expected until 15:00.

What's Happened?

We have been made aware of an issue with the track between Harlech and Barmouth.

For safety, train services are currently unable to run through the area.


Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware and staff are currently en route to the affected area.

We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from Network Rail.


We are currently sourcing rail replacement. Please check back later.

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Llandudno (LLD) and Blaenau Ffestiniog (BFF).

We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.

Replacement road transport supplied by Llew Jones will replace most services between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog at no extra cost.


Departures from Llandudno at 0750, 1010, 1310,1610, 1910.

Departures from Blaenau Ffestiniog at 0620, 0840, 1140 1440, 1740, 2010.


Approximate journey times are 15 minutes Llandundo to Llandudno Junction and 80 minutes Llandundo Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog.


Please note other train services will operate between Llandundo and Llandudno Junction.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Llandrindod (LLO).

We expect the incident to last until 12:00 and disruption to services is expected from 09:00 until 12:00.

What's Happened?

Due to a fault on a train, the 08:35 Service from Shrewsbury is starting at Llandrindod, and the 10:12 service from Llandrindod to Shrewsbury is cancelled.


Alternative Travel Options:

We have organised buses to run between Shrewsbury and Llandrindod to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at approximately :


09:50 at Church Stretton, calling all stations to Llandrindod - provided by Lakeside Coaches

10:10 at Llandrindod, calling all stations to Shrewsbury - provided by AC Jenkins.


These arrangements are in place on services until 12:00

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

Due to severe weather, we regret that Transport for Wales services will not run between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International.
