Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Pontypridd (PPD) and Cardiff Bay (CDB):

What's Happened?
Due to our 398 fleet being unavailable for service, we apologise for temporary disruption on the route between Cardiff Bay and Pontypridd.
If travelling from stations between Pontypridd and Cathays, please change at Cardiff Queen Street for services to Cardiff Bay.
Customers can use local bus services between Pontypridd and Cardiff to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- 13, 24, 25 and 52 Cardiff Bus services.
- 132 Stagecoach
You can use these services until end of day on 26/09/2026.
