Against fierce competition from Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris, this is probably he most spectacular setting for any of Edward I’s castles in North Wales.

With the rugged peaks of Eryri as a backdrop and views of the sea galore, Harlech Castle crowns a sheer rocky crag overlooking the dunes far below. It is also the castle that is in the closest proximity to one of our train stations, Harlech.

We've teamed up with Cadw to offer our rail users 2 for 1 entry to their historic sites.

With a valid same-day rail ticket, you and a plus one will get 2 entry tickets for the price of 1*, and since Harlech Castle and Harlech train station are just a stairway apart, there is a perfect opportunity to take advantage of this 2-4-1 offer without having to travel too far in-between.
