Overview
Serving the areas of Coryton and Pantmawr in Cardiff, the station first opened in 1911 as Coryton Halt, with the 'Halt' being dropped in 1969. Rebuilt in the early 1930s, the small regional station, today, has few facilities, and it's one platform handles just over a quarter of a million passengers every year.
The station is situated near the much loved River Taff, with the Glamorganshire Canal local nature reserve close by, making a lovely picnic spot in the summer and offering a rare tranquility in the winter months.
