Rail replacement buses will be operating between Cardiff Central/Cardiff Queen Street and Bargoed/Rhymney on 6 and 7 December to allow essential testing of the Overhead Line Equipment. During this rail closure, all railway stations, station footbridges, and level crossings from Rhymney to Caerphilly will be closed and fenced off. Saturday 6 December: To Bargoed: Rail replacement bus from Cardiff Central - rear car park To Rhymney: Rail replacement bus from Cardiff Queen Street - Dumfries Place, next to Sainsbury's Sunday 7 December: Rail replacement buses will depart from Cardiff Central as normal, all stopping at Cardiff Queen Street.
