Overview

The port of Fishguard lies in a naturally sheltered cove and is served by two railway stations - Fishguard and Goodwick, and Fishguard Harbour. Opened in 1906, the latter is the newer of the two, and has a timetable based around the ferry sailings.

The suburb of Goodwick lies between the station and the charming town of Fishguard, both forming a community around Fishguard Bay. Popular with tourists, many arrive by train at Fishguard Harbour station, and the picturesque coast is a must for walkers.
