Saturday 12 April - Friday 23 May
We'll be carrying out engineering work for 6 weeks from Saturday 12 April to Friday 23 May. Closures will take place and rail replacement buses will be in operation between Caerphilly and Rhymney, with a normal rail service in operation from Caerphilly into Cardiff, and onwards to Penarth, Barry Island and Bridgend. Rail services will run as normal for major events at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Check your journey before you travel tfw.wales/metro.
Using pay as you go? You can tap on and off at Caerphilly station. Look out for our staff, who will have mobile machines on hand to help. Simply tell them which station you're traveling to and from.
