Overview
Inside the boundary of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Saundersfoot station serves the charming village of the same name and is only a mile from the Coastal Path route - a favourite with walkers.
The village of Saundersfoot shares beaches with its larger neighbour, Tenby, and grew around the harbour and the export of locally mined coal and iron ore. When the industry dried up in the early 1900s, tourism took over, with holidaymakers enjoying the hospitality of Saundersfoot and walkers exploring the stunning countryside. The harbour is home to pleasure boats, many of which offer tours around the beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire.
