National Transport Delivery Plan
We’ve developed the Welsh Government’s National Transport Delivery Plan and are driving this forward. It sets out the vision for an accessible, sustainable and efficient transport system for Wales.
The outcomes of this Plan will support the Wales Transport Strategy to make it easier for people to leave their cars at home and use public transport, walking and wheeling, and cycling. Transport currently makes up 17% of Wales’ carbon emissions. Reducing emissions and pollution from transport will help us achieve our goal of net zero by 2050, reducing the threat of climate change.
The plan aligns closely with the other work we’re doing to support the Welsh Government’s sustainable transport agenda, including Metro.
