Known by the Welsh as Cymru, Wales has the Irish Sea to the West, the Bristol Channel to the south, and England on its eastern borders. Home to three national parks - Eryri, the Bannau Brycheiniog, and the Pembrokeshire Coast, Wales is known for having a glorious, yet rugged coastline, spectacular sandy beaches, and wild mountains and moorlands. Mount Yr Wyddfa, standing at an impressive 3,560 ft or 1,085 metres, is the tallest mountain in the British Isles and is located in Eryri National Park.

With easy transport links thanks to Transport for Wales, a rich history and vibrant culture, it’s a popular holiday destination for visitors from around the globe. Offering a wide choice of accommodation, from campsites to luxury hotels, holiday parks are a favourite option for many. Affordable, ideal for families, couples or individuals and often available at short notice, Wales has numerous parks throughout the country.
