ACTIVE TRAVEL GRADUATE

You’ll help us deliver the Welsh Government’s vision of walking, wheeling and cycling becoming the preferred ways of travelling shorter distances for the people of Wales.

You’ll be involved with assisting local councils to deliver more walking and cycling schemes. You’ll support us with making active travel easier by improving connections between public transport hubs (like railway stations) and walking and cycling routes.

BUS GRADUATE

You’ll help us make bus services work better in Wales - a crucial part of our plans to build an integrated, multimodal transport network that meets people’s needs.

You’ll be involved with planning bus services, so they best serve local communities, as well as ticketing, fleet and depot projects. You’ll also rotate into different teams to broaden your experience and help you get the most out of your placement.

COMMERCIAL GRADUATE

You’ll help us deliver vital transport projects by building and maintaining commercial relationships with key partners, both within and outside of TfW.

You’ll be involved with a wide range of projects, working with our project teams and key stakeholders to deliver them on time, cost and quality. You’ll make up to five rotations into different teams, enabling you to gain broad commercial experience.

CUSTOMER OPERATIONS GRADUATE

You’ll help us provide a consistently safe, high-quality experience for our customers as they use our multimodal transport services for work, education or leisure.

You’ll be involved with the daily operation and upkeep of our railway stations, working with station-based colleagues, local authorities and rail user groups. You’ll rotate across different teams to gain first-hand experience of how we run our rail network.

FINANCE GRADUATE

You’ll help us spend Welsh public money effectively and efficiently on key projects that will make it easier for people in Wales to travel by train, bus, walking and cycling.

You’ll be involved with providing financial information and advice to managers and completing accurate monthly and year-end accounts to meet our audit requirements. You’ll analyse financial data to help identify trends, create forecasts and set budgets.

You’ll help us manage key infrastructure projects, sometimes working with contractors, construction teams and engineers at different locations on Wales’ transport network.
