Due to forecasted severe weather between Llandudno Junction (LLJ) and Blaenau Ffestiniog (BFF):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Llandudno Junction (LLJ) and Blaenau Ffestiniog (BFF).
We expect the incident to last until 09:00 on 13/03/2026 and disruption to services is expected from 15:00 until 09:00 on 13/03/2026.
Due to forecast severe weather, the line is line is closed between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llandudno Junction in both directions.
Our services between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog will be cancelled until 09:00 on 13/03/26 and will be replaced by road transport in both directions.
Please be aware our services between Llandudno and Llandudno Junction remain unaffected by this incident.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to run between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost.
These will depart Llandudno Junction heading towards Blaenau Ffestiniog at approximately 05:21 and 07:29 provided by Llew Jones.
These will also depart Blaenau Ffestiniog heading towards Llandudno Junction at approximately 06:18 and 08:34 provided by Llew Jones
These arrangements are in place on services until approximately 09:00 on 13/03/26.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
