Update: Incident due to an operational incident between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Swansea (SWA) until 06:00.

Due to an operational incident between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Swansea (SWA):

Services may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Llandrindod (LLO).

We expect the incident to last until 06:00 and disruption to services is expected from 04:00 until 12:00.

Due to an operational Incident at Shrewsbury yesterday, our services from Shrewsbury heading towards Llandrindod Wells and Swansea are disrupted.

We expect the incident to be cleared by 06:00. Train services may be cancelled or delayed in the area until approximately 12:00.

Alternative Travel Options:

We have organised buses to run between Shrewsbury and Swansea to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at approximately:

04:30 at Shrewsbury, calling all stations to Llandrindod Wells , provided by Keane's Coaches.

06:05 at Llandrindod Wells, calling all stations to Shrewsbury, provided by Keans's Coaches

07:32 at Llandrindod calling all stations to Shrewsbury, provided by AC Jenkins

We are currently sourcing further replacement road transport.

These arrangements are in place on services until approximately 08:00.

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

Due to an operational incident between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Birmingham International (BHI):

Services may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Services will be cancelled in both directions between Birmingham International (BHI) and Wolverhampton (WVH).

We expect the incident to last until 08:00 and disruption to services is expected from 04:00 until 12:00.

Due to an operational incident in the Shrewsbury area yesterday we are unable to run services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham International.

Please be aware this incident may also affect services from Chester to Shrewsbury and Shrewsbury to Hereford

Alternative Travel Options:

Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:

  • Birmingham International to Shrewsbury with West Midlands Railway
  • Birmingham New Street to Chester with Avanti West Coast

These arrangements are in place until 12:00

Alternative Travel Options:

We have organised a bus to run between Chester and Wolverhampton to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. This will arrive at 04:18 at Chester and is provided by Keanes Coaches.

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
