1. Go Wild in the Jungle at Treetop Adventure Golf

In the centre of Cardiff lies a secret jungle, a world of Amazonian spirit walkers, wild beasts and small white balls - Treetop Adventure Golf.

The 18-hole course will see you navigate your way through the leafy rainforest canopy, past brightly coloured toucans and singing frogs, whilst thunder and lightning crash all around. If you survive this challenge, try your club at the next 18-hole course. Through the land of the Aztecs, try to appease the ancient spirits, and cross the Mystic River.

Fun for players and watchers alike, there’s plenty to get involved in at the Treetop Adventure from student days and quiet sessions to enjoy a meal in the on-site restaurant. Fabulous fun whether you’ve played before or not, this is a great way to spend a day out.

2. Learning is Fun at Techniquest

Located in Cardiff Bay, Techniquest is the UK’s longest established science centre and provides detailed interactive adventures for children and adults. Created by leading experts in the science communication fields, their exhibits have appeared all over the world.

Opening in 1988 with 100 exhibits, the centre has grown impressively and now lives in its own purpose-built building with room for more displays, more visitors and more going on, every day.

By encouraging engagement with science, motivating young minds via interactive exhibits and activities, children can have fun with topics including maths, technology and engineering without realising that they are learning at the same time.

Offering a wide range of events, such as toddler days, and planetarium shows, the whole family can enjoy learning, and the on-site cafe provides much-needed brain food - chips, and cake at the Coffee Mania Cafe.

3. Get Bouncing at Infinity Trampoline Park

If you ever wanted to fly like a bird, Infinity Trampoline Park is the place to go. With more than 70 interconnected trampolines, performance beds, balance beams and basketball lanes, this is a parkour enthusiast’s paradise. Even if you’ve never heard of parkour, the equipment here just invites a full-on bouncing adventure.

Be as creative as you wish, practice tricks until they’re perfect, before entering the dodgeball zone and tackling your opponents. Beat them with flips, slam-dunks, kash vaults and more; try a doggy drop or a frontflip 540, and leave them speechless. The safety marshalls are on hand to help and guide everyone.

With sessions specifically for toddlers, weekly inclusivity sessions, which include visual aids, calm music and ‘chill out areas’, and bounce focused parties, there’s something for everyone, whatever your skill level.

Whether you’re visiting Cardiff for a long weekend or a family holiday, there’s so much going on you’ll be spoiled for choice.
