Cardiff Bus Interchange
Operated by Transport for Wales, the Cardiff Bus Interchange features 14 bus bays and serves as a key hub, offering seamless connections across bus, rail, cycling, and walking routes. It plays a crucial role in the ‘Metro Central’ project, which integrates all modes of transport within Cardiff for easy, efficient travel.
Cardiff Bus Interchange location and opening hours:
The interchange will open before the first bus service of the day departs and close after the last departure of the day.

Cardiff Bus Interchange is a hub for transport information. Our colleagues are on-hand to answer your questions, making it familiar and easy to use. They can tell you how you can access services at the interchange as well as nearby on-street bus services. They can help you plan your journey, advising you on the best route to take.
Cardiff Bus Interchange and Cardiff Central railway station are just a 50-meter walk apart and the two teams will work as one.
There’s clear customer information and wayfinding at the interchange, including live departure and arrival times of buses, and trains at Cardiff Central - helping you travel seamlessly by both bus and rail.
