Due to a fault with the signalling system at Pontypridd (PPD):
Services may be cancelled at Pontypridd (PPD).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a signalling problem at Pontypridd
As a result, train services will be reduced through the area until the signalling system is working normally.
Our colleagues at Network Rail/Amey Infrastructure are aware of the problem and technicians are currently en route to the affected area/signalling.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

We have road transport running between Treherebert and Pontypridd provided by Bluebirds, to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost.
Services will depart at the following times:
From Treherbert at XX:10 and XX:40 (first bus service departing at 06:40)
We also have roaad transport operated by Teulu. These services will be shuttling from Pontypridd to Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

Customers can use local bus services between Treherbert and Pontypridd to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- 120, 121, 124, 130 and 132 Stagecoach services.
