*Update*: Incident due to a fault with the signalling system at Cardiff Central (CDF) until 10:00.

Due to a fault with the signalling system at Cardiff Central (CDF):

Services may be delayed.

Services may be cancelled in the Valley Lines area.

We expect the incident to last until 10:00 and disruption to services is expected until 13:00.

Network Rail have carried out repairs to the signalling at Cardiff Central, however Transport for Wales services are still subject to delays and cancellations.


Customers can use local bus services between Cardiff and Caerphilly to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:

  • 27, 28, and 86 Cardiff Bus Services (Please note these services do not go to Caerphilly)
  • 26 Stagecoach service.

Customers can use local bus services between Cardiff and Penarth to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:

  • Service 92 with Cardiff Bus.

Customers can use local bus services between Rhymney and Caerphilly to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:

  • 26, 50, 51, 53 Stagecoach services.
