Due to a fault on a train between Wrexham Central (WXC) and Bidston (BID):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Wrexham General (WRX) and Bidston (BID).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 17:30 until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
A train has broken down at Wrexham Central meaning services in the area are subject to disruption and will be cancelled.
Unfortunately, we have been unable to rectify the fault on the train so we are unable to run any services between Bidston and Wrexham Central in either direction for the remainder of the day.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have organised buses to replace services between Bidston and Wrexham General to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Bidston at approximately 18:15 and 18:59 and at Wrexham Central at approximately 19:00 and 21:03 provided by Keanes.
These arrangements are in place on services until the end of the day.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
