Due to a passenger being taken ill on a train between Chester (CTR) and Liverpool Lime Street (LIV):
Services may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Runcorn (RUN) and Liverpool Lime Street (LIV).
We expect the incident to last until 20:30 and disruption to services is expected until 21:30.
What's Happened?
Due to a passenger being taken ill on a service between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street, services may be delayed, cancelled or amended.
Alternative Travel Options:
Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:
- Between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street with Merseyrail until 21:00
- Between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly with Northern until the end of the day.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
