We expect the incident to last until 12:30 and disruption to services is expected until 13:30.

What's Happened?

Due to an incident at Heath High Level earlier, services between Cardiff Central and Coryton are likely to be disrupted. Please check our live map for current service status and your next available Transport for Wales service.

Services may be cancelled in both directions between Aberystwyth (AYW) and Shrewsbury (SHR).

We expect the incident to last until 23:00 on 26/09/2026 and disruption to services is expected from 19:00 until 23:00 on 26/09/2026.

What's Happened?

Due to a shortage of trains at Machynlleth Depot, we have fewer trains available. Some services between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth will be disrupted.

Our engineers are working hard to bring trains back into service as quickly as possible. We apologise for any disruption caused to your journey.

Alternative Travel Options

We have limited road transport running between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth provided by Lloyds, to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost.

We apologise for temporary disruption on the route between Cardiff Bay and Pontypridd.

If travelling from stations between Pontypridd and Cathays, please change at Cardiff Queen Street for services to Cardiff Bay.
