Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Wrexham General (WRX) and Chester (CTR):
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Wrexham General (WRX) and Chester (CTR).
We expect the incident to last until 12:00 and disruption to services is expected until 12:00.
What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Wrexham General and Chester stations.
The following services are cancelled:
10:05 Wrexham General to Chester
10:32 Chester to Wrexham General
11:05 Wrexham General to Chester
11:31 Chester to Wrexham General
12:05 Wrexham General to Chester
12:30 Chester to Wrexham General
13:05 Wrexham General to Chester
13:31 Chester to Wrexham General

Alternative Travel Options
We have organised buses to run between Wrexham General and Chester to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost. Rail replacement will be provided by Northwich and Cymru Coaches.
These arrangements are in place on services until further notice.
