Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW):
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Aberystwyth (AYW).
We expect the incident to last until 10:20 and disruption to services is expected from 05:38 until 10:20.
What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth.
The following services will now be replaced by buses:
05:38 - Machynlleth to Aberystwyth
06:17 - Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury
06:48 - Welshpool to Aberystwyth
08:27 - Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
