Due to an operational incident at Ludlow (LUD):
Services may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Hereford (HFD) and Shrewsbury (SHR).
We expect the incident to last until 20:00 and disruption to services is expected until 20:00.
What's Happened?
Following an operational incident at Ludlow, services are now able to run but are still experiencing delays and disruption.
Please continue to travel as planned by expect delays and cancellations on your journey.
This incident is expected to last until approximately 20:00.

Alternative Travel Options:
Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:
- Northern between Crewe and Manchester
- Avanti between Crewe and Manchester
These arrangements are in place on services until 21:00.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.

Due to an operational incident earlier today between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Llandrindod (LLO):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury (SHR) and Llandrindod (LLO).
We expect the incident to last until 19:30 and disruption to services is expected from 18:36 until 21:30.
What's Happened?
Following an operational incident earlier today, the following services have been cancelled:
- 18:35 Shrewsbury to Llandrindod
- 20:25 Llandrindod to Shrewsbury
We have organised replacement road transport to run for these services. Buses will be provided by Lakeside and Gower.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

We expect the incident to last until 23:59 on 26/09/2026 and disruption to services is expected until 23:59 on 26/09/2026.
What's Happened?
We apologise for temporary disruption on the route between Cardiff Bay and Pontypridd.
If travelling from stations between Pontypridd and Cathays, please change at Cardiff Queen Street for services to Cardiff Bay.
Customers can use local bus services between Pontypridd and Cardiff to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- 13, 24, 25 and 52 Cardiff Bus services.
- 132 Stagecoach
You can use these services until end of day on 26/09/2026.
