Due to a fault with the on train signalling system earlier today between Bridgend (BGN) and Barry (BRY):
We expect the incident to last until 21:00 and disruption to services is expected from 18:45 until 21:00.
We have been made aware of a signalling problem at Bridgend
As a result, train services will not be able to run through the area until the signalling system is working normally.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and technicians are currently en route to the affected area/signalling.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.
Please check back shortly. We apologise for the disruption caused to your journey.

We have road transport running between Bridgend and Barry provided by Keepings International, to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost.
The first train from Brigdend will cover the 19:40 service to Cardiff but unfortunately will be about 30 mins late. The first train from Barry will cover the 20:04 train to Bridgend but will unfortunately be about 15 mins late.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
