Due to urgent repairs to the track between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM):
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM).
We expect the incident to last until 13:00 and disruption to services is expected until 13:00.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of broken rail between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa.
For safety, we are unable to run trains through the area, with cancellations and residual delays of around 60 minutes to be expected.
Our colleagues at Network Rail are aware of the problem and Technicians are currently en route to the affected area of track.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:

These arrangements are in place on services until further notice.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
Alternative Travel Options
We are currently sourcing buses to run between Newport and Cheltenham Spa to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost.

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
