Due to an obstruction on the track between Llanhilleth (LTH) and Ebbw Vale Town (EBB):
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Llanhilleth (LTH) and Ebbw Vale Town (EBB).
We expect the incident to last until 23:59 and disruption to services is expected until 23:59.
We have been made aware of an obstruction on the line between Llanhilleth and Ebbw Vale Town. As a result, the line between Newport (South Wales) and Ebbw Vale Town will be closed until end of service today.
Our colleagues at Network Rail/Amey Infrastructure are aware and staff are currently en route to the affected area to remove the obstruction.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from Network Rail. Please check back shortly.

Customers can use the following local bus services to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- Route 56 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Crosskeys via Rogerstone and Pontymister.
- Route X15 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Llanhilleth via Rogerstone, Crosskeys and Newbridge.
- Route 151 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Newbridge via Pye Corner, Rogerstone, Pontymister, Risca and Crosskeys.

We have organised buses to run between Newport (South Wales) and Ebbw Vale Town to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Newport (South Wales) at approximately 20:45 provided by Jensen Travel, and at Ebbw Vale Town at approximately 21:00 provided by Teulu Travel.
These arrangements are in place on services until further notice.
