Due to urgent repairs to the railway between Rhymney (RHY) and Cardiff Central (CDF):
Services will be cancelled in the Radyr area.
We expect the incident to last until 05:30 on 25/07/2026 and disruption to services is expected until 23:55 on 26/07/2026.
What's Happened?
Engineering work in the Cardiff Queen Street area has closed the railway to all services running bettwen Cardiff and Rhymney/Penarth/Coryton.
You cannot travel by train - there are no trains running.
Rail Replacement Bus Services are running.
Customers can use local bus services between Rhymney and Caerphilly to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- 26, 50, 51, 53 Stagecoach services.
You can use these services until 23:00
Customers can use local bus services between Cardiff and Penarth to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- Service 92 with Cardiff Bus.
You can use these services until 23:00
Customers can use local bus services between Cardiff and Caerphilly to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- 27, 28, and 86 Cardiff Bus Services (Please note these services do not go to Caerphilly)
- 26 Stagecoach service.
You can use these services until 23:00
Customers can use local bus services between Cardiff and Cardiff Bay to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- 6 and 8 Cardiff Bus services.
You can use these services until 23:00
