Overview
The glorious city of Hereford is served by this station, and although the railway arrived in 1853, people weren’t catered for until 1893, when the one station brought both freight and passengers together.
Built using the eye-catching locally sourced red bricks to create the dramatic Gothic architecture, it echoes the grandeur of the nearby cathedral and is passed through by nearly one and a half million passengers every year, many of whom are tourists visiting this historic city.
