Overview

Opened in 1848, and designed by the son of the railway king, George Stephenson, Prestatyn Station lies on the North Wales Coast Line. Bringing prosperity to the area, visitors flooded to the seaside resort. The station has had a series of upgrades over the years, with the latest remodelling occurring in 2012. New platforms, redesigned buildings, and an improved signalling system, make handling a third of a million passengers every year, simple.

Prestatyn has plenty to offer the day-tripper - attractions such as the glorious beach, a rich heritage to soak up, and walks along the beautiful and rugged coastline.
