Due to trespassers on the railway at Briton Ferry (BNF):
Services may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Bridgend (BGN) and Swansea (SWA).
We expect the incident to last until 17:00 and disruption to services is expected from 15:30 until 20:00.
What's Happened?
Following a trespass incident at Briton Ferry, trains services are now able to run through the area again, however residual delays and cancellations can be expected as the service recovers. We apologise for the disruption caused to your journey.
Alternative Travel Options:
We have limited road transport en route to Swansea, Carmarthen, and Bridgend, provided by Cymru Coaches, Teulu Travel, Gower Mini Travel, and Glyn's to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost until 20:00.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
